Under federal guidelines, it's illegal to "punish" or discriminate against employees for things like this........
........Admitting to this "act" on the internet isn't smart. I would let it cool... rapidly.
What you say is true due to our overly litigious society but admitting to the "act" on the internet might have done some good. It got the cow man thinking about his actions that day and eventually righting the situation. And, I'm certain a few others just might act differently in the future, me included.
Our society could use a little more this. As individuals, we usually think we're right and only concerned about ourselves most of the time. Showcasing an individuals actions for all to see and comment on, just might be what our society needs to rid itself of self-centered, thoughtless characters.
You know, I really don't know how to resopnd to this "kind" of post.. so I'll just say
it really don't matter what your on, if it was a freakin log, and you were able to make it hover, and could control it through the turns and enjoy the wind and sun, nuf said?
Oil leaks are over ratted... but them logs, damn bark everywhere...
**** sounds like the kid had a chip on his shoulder already, Butch a good friend of mine had a 1000 sportster that leaked so bad out of the gear shifter shaft that at stop lights it would puddle enough oil that when he took off it would spin the tire and chirp. [sm=laughat.gif]but he did always park on the edge or in the grass when the gang went riding. As far as taking him under the wing and teaching him something what do you think shoveling **** will do, (been there shoveled my share ) [sm=headbang.gif]I would have most likelystarted a converstion with him about where the leaks was comeing from and moved the talking in the direction I wanted it to go.[sm=partyparty.gif] But hey, I'm old but I remember being a young *** to, as I'm sure most of us do Kid could've been handled it better to I think, I mean how would any of yall handled a 20 year old talking that kind **** about your pride and joy, before any one say's it I know that the sporty is his Pride and Joy also but lets face facts he knows it has problems and is going take a while to bring up to snuff if he even has any intention of doing anything might just be a punk, I've met my share! Over all I think Cowracer handled it Ok [sm=lol.gif]
i would have done the same thing. if i asked the guy to move his bike because its leaking all over the parking lot and he started breaking my chops id find the crappiest job for him to do.
JR
Now were getting the guys who think he did good. look if it bothers you so bad hand him a piece of cardboard but dont say you have to move becouse your bikeis not as good as mine.(hell some of you guys that are as old as some ironhead and seep a little now and then dont you) by the way i ama lead at my job and for me to use that on himon some thing that i started is nothing more thanbeing a punk be a man he told you what he thinks of your suggestions. remember three things you don't badmouth. a mans kids, dogs and sure as hell not his bike
