+1. If you're '05 still has the factory air shocks I'd bet that's a big part of the problem.

There are 2 kinds of quick detach racks, the newer style that are short, they mount the same as a backrest, these will beat the crap out of your passenger. The older style rack is considerably longer. The rear mount is the same, but the front mount is between the shock and crash bar. These do not bounce at all.

I wonder about the shocks. By now they are worn out. I have an 07 and just got new shocks, what a big difference.
