Torque wrench's on a drain plug scare me. I snug em till I feel the "O"-ring seat and thats it. YMMV

The threads loosen up???? How pathetic was that answer. I sure do hope that the moron who provided that explanation has nothing to do with any type of wrenching there. I may not even let him pump gas. Another reason why I do my own work on my vehicles.

Thanks, I love all Danes... great breed...your pups look great too!

Who am I kidding, I love just about all dogs, period!

I have a hard time warming up to the little, boutique "purse" dogs...

That's interesting, my bike has 110,000+ miles on it and the threads haven't "loosened up". I guess I'd better be careful............

My thoughts? The dealer is BSing you big time. Oil plugs correctly torqued don't loosen up.
Next time, save money and aggravation and change the oil yourself.

Few people today honor--the concept of honor. Nobody makes mistakes. Something else or someone else is always responsible for errors. Unless someone earns your trust, you have no reason to trust anyone to do the right thing. Of course, many will do the right thing, but that is so rare that it causes us to suspect everyone of not taking responsibility for their actions.

By the way, a drain plug never falls out if it is installed even close to correctly. Most people never even use a torque wrench--and the plug never just falls out.
