I used garage door brackets and threaded rod. I think I have $12 into it

Just remembered, one thing to consider if doing a vertical wall mount is storage below where the TP would be hung. With a shelf style you can store things underneath the tp or have shelves underneath. And the tp can be mounted high, mine is 6ft from floor. If vertical mounted, it may be necessary to be close to the wall in order to "hang" the tp and deal with the detach latches. I have not actually tried it, but it seems that reaching over things to hang the tp maybe difficult. Lots of good options and worth the trouble.

mine is exactly like flylows below, except i used 5/8" all thread rod and shrink tubed it.

Wow, pretty neat storage ideas. I wish i had seen them ,before i just built a shelf to sit mine on
