Thumbs up

Harley colours have been disappointing for some years now, so that 2-tone green is quite an eye-opener. I was pulling your leg about the 'barn'!

That's awesome! I have an 07 EGC, and it now has 80K+miles on it. I love it, and in 2015 I did a FuelMoto BigBore build, at 63K. I didn't need to, the engine was fine, but I did it instead of going out and buying a 28K new bike.

Some things the buyer can do, as add the Isolated Drive Sprocket. This was the rubberized rear sprocket that came stock on the 08s, but could be back fitted to the 07s. Added a level of smoothness to the ride.

Do a decent stage 1 at least and then 6th gear will be more useable. Otherwise the bike isn't worth a damn till your over 2400rpm. Adding a bit of low end torque is very helpful. Also a oil cooler. The stock tune runs crazy hot.

That's a nice scooter and with some minor upgrades it will serve it's owner very well. I'd definitely dump the stock exhaust. Fuel Moto sells a great header pipe that goes under the swingarm, like the 09 and up bikes, and then a nice set of slip-ons would be the *****.

I added a set of Wild One 575s for bars to bring them 2 inches and out for my EGC, but that's a matter of ergos for each rider.

So many good used bikes out there that are garage queens. LOL!

Thanks so far for all the great responses. I am interested in the color, anyone have info on what those green colors are called? Is this a factory "special" paint set. He didn't see any serial number on the paint like they do now.

We have a couple of labradoodles and the couple that let us guardian them has an 01 Fatboy with just over 1000 miles on it. Still looks brand new. He is a Navy pilot and has been overseas flying missions and seldom has time home.

Nice find. Make sure ALL the fluids are changed before you do any serious riding. The tires have to go too.

There was a time when green was considered bad luck in racing circles. But I'm not superstitious.

That's interesting, as the first time green was used for racing was back in 1903 in Ireland, when a British racing team painted their cars 'shamrock green' in honour of their Irish hosts. British Racing Green, BRG, is still used today over here and British brand road cars routinely have a BRG as part of their colour range. From the same era US cars are/were traditionally blue IIRC.
