I agree. I would not dry start once a week with thick oil. Park it and forget it until riding season.

Thanks for the advice. Yes you guys are correct. Starting it isn’t the best thing to do,especially when it’s hovering around the zero mark.

Winterize before storage (most change their fluids), treat the fuel and put on a tender. Leave till Spring.

Firing it up will do more harm then good.

Remindes me of the Banker across the street who got a Corvette and would start it up and race it then shut it off. Started puffing a little lil smoke and after awhile was pushing clouds of blue smoke. He pretty much destroyed the engine sitting in the garage.
