Hi, I have a 98' Ultra Classicwith 20k milesthat I just began having problems with. It leaks oil out of the air cleaner assembly. When the bike has been parked for several hours, myoil pressure gauge is pegged out, after about 5 minutes it goes down to about 20-25 pounds while crusing, anddown to 10 at idle.I think maybe I have a bad pump, does anybody have anyinput on this?
Thanks.

Sounds like it's overfilled with oil. Drain about a 1/4 - 1/2 qt out of it and see if it dosen't stop puking oil out the AC.
Well this doesn't apply to your bike but here's my oil pressure. Are you sitting down? good, hang on here we go. Cold idle 30 ish, cold riding 60+. Hot idle 10 hot riding highway 50 on a 99 and just turned 46,000 miles tonight. I put a gizmo in the oil passage when i did the cams. Luckily I'm not leaking any oil yet, but that's a little too much oil psi on the highway after hrs of riding. []
lots of causes for oil out of the oil filter. most of these are due to "misting". 1. recommend you leave the oil about 1/2 between full an low 2. check the breather tubes on the engine/air filter. 3. there are devices to help the misting from one our the sponsors here, 4. mis-aligned/isses with the oil pump. probably a few more, but these are the most common things you will find if you search the forum.
I had the issue with my new '06 Dyna, but after dropping the oil level a bit, it is fixed now.
installed a AN BS on my '07 UC and have not had any issues with it.
