Default 07 air shocks

ok i know hd sells a pump for the air shocks.... but is there any kind of pump you can buy or usebesides that?.... i tried a regular bicycle pump and itwas too deep to reach the air nozzle

What he said. Progressive makes one identical to the H-Dwhich leads me to believe they make the H-D labeled one as well. Believe it ornot it is a few $'s higher than the H-D labeled pump.

You can get a curved extension from a truck tire place that screws on, then you can use a tire pump. You have to be careful though it fills up fast.

This is one accessory where you probably won't find a better part than the HD one.

Just buy the HD pump.
Works perfectly for what you need.

Ditto, the HD pump is compact, works, and won't overfill the shocks (unless you do it on purpose). Get it and be happy!

just to add the best part of the HD pump other than the size is the ability to disconnect without the loss of virtually any air. neat how it works

I tried the bike pump method, trying to save money but there is so little air that the shock takes (this is why you should not use a compressor)I found that I would let most of it out put the air gauge on to check it. Get the HD Pump. It has a gauge on it that will allow you to see where you are at at all times, also has a release to allow you to take what you want out. I kept the box and foam that came with it and just keep in my side box so I have it on the road.
