Jacked up the handlebar swap
I mounted the new Factory 47 bars yesterday, evidently I jacked up pulling the wires in (or out) on the throttle, or so I thought.
The service engine light illuminated when I first started the bike and the following codes appeared. This seems to be a somewhat common occurrence for guys with my luck in changing bars
P2122 TGS1 Low/Open
P2127 TGS2 Low/Open
P2138 TGS Correlation Error (Twist grip sensor)
Before ripping out the twist grip and investigating further, I unplugged the harness at the nacelle, reinstalled it, cleared the codes and started the bike again. A few throttle twists and everything seems to be normal.
whew...
check engine light out. shut it off and started again. same. shut if off and went through the codes again, everything stayed cleared.
so I guess I'll put the nacelle back together and take it for a spin in the next couple of days first chance I get
