Did a handlebar change this morning using the awesome posts here as a guideline. Everything went well (or so I thought) until I got everything put back together. Bike will start fine, but has no throttle response, and check engine light is on. Checked codes, cleared the ones that would clear, but still have P1512 forced idle mode, P2122 TGS1 low/open, P2127 TGS2 low/open, and P2138 TGS correlation error (twist grip sensor). None of these codes will clear. I assume this means the TBW connector is not connected well enough, or buggered up, but before i tear this thing back apart I thought I 'd ask here if there is an easier way for me to resolve this issue.
Did you install yaffe Bars??? or something close to 12 inch?
What I found is the little green connector is at about the same place were the bend is. So you pull the wires. The green connector gets stuck there and you pulled it apart.
Take it back apart...I hate what I just said..lol.... Cut off the green connector wires one at a time and solder them together. Do one at a time so you dont connect them wrong.
Then put this wire through first then the other loom.
You can also buy a longer throttle sensor without the green plug and its longer.. 100 bucks
Ive had my 12 inch bars on now for about a month. Ive noticed that since Ive had it back every once in a while the check engine light and battery light would come on but then go right back off. Yesterday I was riding in the bike totally wanted to stop. It would idol perfect and start perfect. But I have no throttle. Could this be an issue in the wiring that they done? Please help

Before you take everything apart again, double check all the wires in the connectors. I had a similar issue with my PY bar install but luckily I found that I had two wires swapped in the wrong location. After that all was good. I also opted for the SE throttle controller that has longer wires and no dreaded "green connector" which has caused
The exact same thing happened to me last week when I changed bars. Same codes. I removed the sensor from the bar. Pulled it out intill the connectors we're visible. Found that the connector had come apart. I put a small zip tie through the wires on both ends and zipped it together so it couldn't come apart when pulled through the bar. Works perfect now
