OK Wire up the PYO MBB and think I have it all sorted. Start the bike but the throttle doesn't work. DRAT!! I have the check engine light on and the red light on the bottm left of the speedo come on (Haven't looked that light up yet as to its meaning.) So I suspect the TBW wires came undone during the internal threading. Do the lights and lack of throttle sound right for this before I pull it all out again?
Are you sure the wires are back in the right positions in the connector that plugs in in the fairing? HD makes a replacement throttle that eliminates the green connector inside the handlebar tube (P/N 32310-08) if that is the problem.
A disconnected throttle grip sensor will set a DTC, the service engine light will come on, but the bike will still start and be on some kind of fast idle.
I had it happen when I put my 107" together, I had disconnected the TGS without knowing it and the bike still started but no throttle response.

Yes I wrote the positions all down and also tried reversing them just in case I did it wrong.

Yep that sounds the same as my issue.
I finally said bugger it and took the bars to my local indy to wire up this morning. Hopefull I can get the bars back soon and finish with the install.
