Hopefully some of you can point me in the right direction to trouble shoot a problem i had riding up to laconia.
While on the highway in the rain i lost power on two occasions and had to coast to the side of the road.The bike would fire right back up and i could go on my way. any one have any guess as to coil or other part that could cause this when wet.Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. I too had the same thing happen to me on the way back from Americade....just died @ 70mph....coasted to the side shut it off and she fired up again.....I thought that I somehow hit the kill switch but it was on run.....I noticed that the volt meter was reading just at or below 14 volts....another bike like mine[06 Ultra] had a readingat above 14 volts...got a letter last month from harley to check with the stealer about weather my ser# was recalled for a regulator problem but it wasn't ...guess again...I WILL be back there bitchin....
