Hey guys... new here. Wondering if someone could help me out. What the highest i can Go on Apes for my 03 Road King? Currently running 10” mini’s.

This gets stated in very ape thread.. Don' bbuy your bars based on cable length.. Get the bars you want and do the few extra steps to redo the wiring.. It's pretty easy to do if you have just a little bit of knowledge and read some of the posts

I ran 18s on my Fatboy for years. IMO replace all riser bolts annually. Grade 8. They crack due to excess torque due to bar length. Happened to me multiple times. Almost cost me my life once.

Great bike, but she's gone. Bagger now.

^ If anyone is needing to overtorque the bolts to keep things buttoned up and movement free, it would be much safer to drill and install a set screw or pin that locks the bar position into the riser or riser clamp.

Yaffes riser cllamp is pretty sweet. Ill install another one on my next bike
