Hey Everyone,
I have a 2018 CVO Limited Anv. Ed. with Street Cannon Slip-On mufflers (SC-mufflers) / Pro Street Tuner / Stock Air Cleaner, for now the dealer Seacoast Harley did a generic map till weather warms up when I'll have them dyno it.
My question: Once it's Dyno'd with the SC-mufflers can I then alternate back and forth between stock pipes w/ generic map and the Dyno'd map with SC-mufflers ? Most preferably by myself...
The reason is to put the quieter stock pipes on for longer touring trips where performance isn't as important to me as much as my girl and I being able to talk & avoid the ringing ears.Yet still be able take advantage of the performance, great sound on local rides and shorter trips.
I appreciate any and all knowledge / feedback.
Hi Roadie, Thank you.... I've put the first 550 miles on since mid December in between snow storms and sub-arctic temps. Seems like the pipes are really load which of course is awesome but I was riding a 2012 CVO Softail with Vance & Hines Big Radius and they were stupid load for all day riding; we did 76K miles in the 5 seasons with it. Went with the new bike for ultimate in comfort, features and a little quieter, I suppose with the small sample sizes of 50 to 100 mile rides so far I should wait to evaluate further in the spring.
