Idle shaking
Agree with other posters...HUGE difference when front brake is engaged -vs- not engaged at a stop...totally different in transferring the shaking right up the forks!
Barring that...the motor mounts would be the next thing to look at.
1st to keep in mind is it's normal for many HD's to experience engine shake @ idle, esp with rubber mounted motor so maybe your just used to that, dont know if thats the case or not here.
With that said if you have stock fuel calibration then it can be the excessive lean idle fuel calibration making motor idle rougher then it should.
I had the same issue with my bone stock 09 HD,i installed NightRider Enrichment Resistors to fatten up overall fuel mix a bit and found when testing that the 50% enrichment position smoothed out the idle enough to reduce shaking some @ idle along with also eliminating a slight lean surge it had when at steady state cruise a light throttle position too.
25% position wasnt enough enrichment to help and 75% enrichment position didn't seen to make it run any smoother at idle or run better when riding then 50% enrichment position did which is how in ended up @ that setting/position.
Those 2 improvements overall engine perf were well worth the cost & 1-1.5 loss in mpg post richening up the fuel mix a bit.
But i didnt feel an real noticeable improvement/reduction in heat felt from motor in traffic or at cruise or reduction in oil temp at all post richening fuel mix a bit.

Next, someone will complain their touring bike is hot in stop and go traffic, and theres no place to put the gas cap at the filling pump.
