Awhile back some one posted some pictures of their friends or dads bike where they had used the fatboy fender brackets to lower a different fender. I currently have the fat boy fender but don't like my voltage regulator being exposed to the element coming off the front wheel. I did a search and didn't come up with anything. Does anyone have a clue about this or am I imagining things?
..so what are you trying to do..lower a fatboy front fender, lower a different fender,or change out to a fender that affords better protectection for voltage reguator?

That is the fatboy front fender adapter mounted on a stock touring fender. It's not a bolt on deal because you have to cut the stock touring bracket off flush with the fender and drill new holes for the fatboy fender bracket. I don't think it will lower what you currently have on your bike.
I was looking at lowering the stock fender that was in the photo closer to the tire and getting better protection at the same time? I thought that it was a stock Harley fender, off of what is the question?
