Whats your budget? That should limit the field somewhat...and the 13" HD stockers that come on the 2018 CVOs are a huge upgrade and can be had for under $500....

I installed a pair of takeoff 2017 SVO SG Premium Ride rear shocks on my 2012 SG. Way better than air shocks. Stiff riding solo as I only weigh 165#, but perfect for 2 up. And, if they bottom out while 2 up its not as harsh as air shocks.

Only the CVO Limited has 13" shocks. The 18 CVO SG and the 8 CVO RG have 12" premium hand adjustable shocks
What's your budget? If you email Howard at Motorcycle Metal I bet he can get you a set of Ohlins base shocks, built for you, for about the same money as an out of the box Bitubo. That's what's on our '03 and we're more than happy with the ride.
Not knocking the Bitubo but I'll always pick custom over out of the box, even if the out of the box option has springs chosen for me.

I dont think Howard would sell a set of Separated Nitrogen/Oil System Ohlins with adjustable preload and rebound for under 500 dollars like the Bitubos. If he does let me know. Ill be the first one to buy it

I didn't realize that the Bitubo was a separated shock with rebound adjustability. That is a great price.
I would really worry about a shock with those features for so much less than any comparable shock on the market. I'll keep my Ohlins with only preload adjustment. I know I'll always be able to find someone to service them once Howard hangs up his hat.
Biturbo and supershox seem to be the cheapest while still being quality. Looks like some version of Ohlins can be had for a little bit more...wonder which perform better.
