Default Dampeners
I'm lowering the front of my 06 Heritage using Arlen Ness complete lowering kit with stock springs. Do I need a spacer at the top?

Looks like the Ness kit comes with just a different dampener that only gets you a specified drop so no spacer is used.

If you went the route of a Progressive style drop kit, which is new springs, the spacer is used so you can opt for how much drop you want by changing the length of the spacer.
