I recently bougjt a 2007 road king with 21000 miles on it. It already has the Arlen Ness high flow breather on it and a set of Vance and Hines true duel pipes . They look to be about 2 and a half at the back. Can anyone tell me what the gains are for this set up and what kind of pipes these are called. And about what a set like this would cost. I'm curious.

Gains are mostly sound IMHO, as some owners like hearing a similar noise out of each pipe. On the other hand true duals also steal low/mid range torque, compared with better set-ups, so there is a downside. The Vance and Hines website will give details of your system, we can't actually see it in your photos.

Thanks for the info. There pretty much straight popes . The same size all the way up. Was just wondering. I never had a bike with those on it before.
Thanks Al

To get a solid number, you need to have the bike dyno'd. Not a simple answer of course, but there are too many variables IMHO to try to guess. As to cost, look at eBay recent sales and see if you can find ones that have sold and what they are getting.

They are most likely the Vance and Hines BIG SHOT DUALS...

https://products.vanceandhines.com/store/harley/17925/

The cost new is around $800

As for performance "gains" wouldn't know.... I had Rinehart Classic True Duals and just swapped to Rinehart 2:1... And I can tell the 2:1 is ALOT SMOOTHER in the power band then the True Duals were... But I also have the Rinehart Intake and a PC5 for mapping...

Thanks for the info. I have a lot to learn about what worjs and what doesn't. My first bike was a 1976 Sportster. And that was before I had three youngsters. So I had to wait awhile to get my second and third bikes. I also have a 2012 ultra. And love both of the bikes. Anyway a lot has changed since the old days. Thanks
