Is it possible to install CVO touring read light harness on 17 SGS?
Like the title says - is it possible to install the rear light harness kit from a CVO touring (SG) onto a 17 Street Glide Special? I'm talking about the kit that has the 2 vertical bars which sit in the little gap between the fender and bags. I've seen them for sell at swap meets and am thinking of picking one up.
Has anyone done this conversion? Did you need to drill extra holes, and were any extra parts required? Did you remove the existing turn signal assembly, and if so, what did you replace it with?
Just buy the cvo rear fender kit from harley. The wire harness is plug n play. No brainer!
Ok, I looked that up. That's quite an expensive upgrade. I found the cvo kit for ~350 used. Was hoping that someone here has done the conversion and could provide some info/tips.
