Lower fairing install on 2015 Street Glide
Can you install lower fairings with the install of extended floorboards and controls? I'm installing longer floorboards with 1 inch out and one inch up brackets. Has anyone done this?

I'm not sure what floorboards you are using, but I have Bad Dad floorboards (longer than stock) and controls, extended 1" out. These are very close to the lowers, but do not touch, going 1" up would be no issue. This is on a 2014 FLHX.

It seemed to me that I had read something about HD floorboards being more comfortable because they "float", but that was a few years ago. Have you felt a difference in comfort or ride?

I think the same way that you would pick up less vibration with the floaters than you would with the solids. It would be nice to have some one who has some experience with both.
