There's probably somebody on this forum that has and loves almost every exhaust out there. I've had V&H Monster Ovals, which I've thought were great. Recently upgrade the engine and will be going to a Jackpot Street Outlaw 2-1 so the monster ovals will be for sale if you're interested.

I'd be interested. Can you PM me? I'm running Big Louie now but would like more bark (ha ha, but seriously) and lower rumble. Although something tells be I'm on a journey that won't end til I get to Rinehart or CFR.
Hey ultra14, you've probably discovered by now, sound is pretty subjective. Some guys think you can do better than my setup, and I didn't like some of the pipes that other guys on here think are great. Another suggestion is, go to a Harley dealer on a nice Saturday morning sometime (or to a bike night), look for a 14 Ultra, ask them to fire it up for you (they will, no problem), and when you hear something you like, you'll say "THAT'S what I'm looking for, right there." You'll get even more sound by getting a catless head pipe too. I did, and I agree with the guys who suggested that. I have Vance & Hines Power Duals, and Vance & Hines High Outputs slip ons. I like 'em.
Yes many of us have been down this road. Started with Big Louie slip ons, wanted more. Bigger baffles, modified baffles, decat headpipe, offset baffles (different sizes on different sides). Now im with Cobra Power Port header and CFR knock offs. Now she's loud, really loud and barky when open it up, deep rumble at idle. Happy for now, who knows next year.

If you like the sound of the CFRs, check the Bassani DNTs on youtube. Very deep/low tone rumble. I had CFRs on a previous bike and to me, the DNTs sound even better. I know it's subjective though.
I have the RCX 4.5" and no cat. They sound great at idle or when you twist the throttle. Not cheap by any means but looks and sound is what I was after
