Default Handle Bar/ Mirror question

I am wanting to keep my fairing mirrors, but I want the bars closer to me. Does anyone have any experience with this? I talked to Brett at KST and he didn't think it was possible with any of his bars.
Thanks Allen

I have the Harley reach bars. 2” closer but no other change. It doesn’t affect my stock mirrors at all. And with some careful rerouting of the clutch cable I was able to install them without buying any other parts.

When modding my bike for comfort I used the HD reduced reach bars. However my hands blocked about 1/4 to 1/2 of my fairing mirrors depending the angle of the bars which I found comfortable. Not willing to sacrifice comfort for looks or different bars and knowing that I wanted a painted inner fairing, I changed to bar mounted mirrors at the same time I swapped out the the oem inner fairing for a painted inner fairing without fairing mirrors. As mentioned by cncmike, clutch cable was re-routed without any issues or need for a longer cable.
