Default 2014 Streetglide question

I'm new to the HD and I have a question about the quick detach system for the sissy bar. I want to install one, and I notice two round ***** on each side by saddle bags. Will a standard sissy bar attach directly to that, or will I need additional hardware?

You will need the 4 point docking hardware. Search amazon and will find what you need.

So I'm assuming it needs to be HD if I plan on HD sissy bar? Or are they universal?

Just make sure you get a 4 point docking hardware kit for 09 and up HD Touring and it will work. You will use the points you are referring to for the front of the sissy bar but the rear will connect to the 4 point docking hardware.

For a 2014 you need docking hardware for a 14 or newer. The backrest can be 09 and newer.
