Default fuel changes

i am starting to get ticked off. took the bike out for a nice ride tonight. it seems that whenit gets a little warm out. it could be 80deg and after running for a little bit she starts to run rough.
this bike HATES the warm weather. as soon as i saw a bank with the temp on it saying 71 deg i noticed it running a little better.
my question is after changing the fuel pack settings at least 4 times and the pipes twice then to duels. will this foul out the plugs because i keep changing the fuel settings?
do you think the fuel pack is screwing up or getting heated up and changes the a/f ratio?
i just want a nice trouble free ride one day with out any issues.

I would suggest that you either have your fuel pack tested, or just return it for a new one. This is one of the reasons why I stick with name brand products like PCIII or SERT. Most dyno gurus try to stay away from products that not widely used or accepted by the masses. You can also try to give Vance & Hines tech support a call and see if they can help. I hope it gets better for you.

Good luck!

I live where HEAT is a DAILY THING (Palm Springs, CA) and went for a putt this last week-end to So East San Diego County (130+ miles ea way) Outside temp got as high as 112 degrees - Bike never let me down in the Mts or on the Flat - Never pinged - Never Popped - Oil Temp (when checked at a refreshment stop) was around 280...

With a V&H FuelPak & Calif-Crap-Gas???

Just bought a complete V&H true dual system, also purchased a spare set of SE slip-ons.
I've been reading over some of these messages and I read some good threads on the V&H fuel and some not so good.
Who still has problems, who had none.
Also read about this PC3 system. Can anybody tell some pros and cons? Just want to spend my money in the right place.
I have a 2006 e-glide FLHTI.
Thanks

TV...

Depending how far you want to go with Up-Grades???

If you're going to be happy with just the Stage 1 - I would go with V&H FuelPak (most user friendly - and easy install - BUT LIMITED)

Any MORE then a Stage 1 - You should consider the THUNDER MAX - a bit $$$$ but it's a smarter system then both the V&H & Power Comander...

If you are truly having that much trouble when the bike heats up I would warm it up real good and go by the dealer so they can take it for a ride. I have the Fuelpak, Rush pipes, SE A/C, and HD oil cooler and the bike runs good. It's no road rocket but it's a bagger after all. I use the oil dipstick temp gage and in 90 deg heat with minimum stop and go I see temps in the 210 to 215 range.

If it runs better without the fuel pack, then the problem must bewith the fuel pack.Ii would pull it out and see how it runs.
