Default Corbin vs CVO seat

I ended up with both. Now I need to choose.

I do have to say that CVO seat is easily the most handsome seat I've ever seen as far as looks go. The curves/shape, the pattern of leather templates used, the stitching, the nose, the heavy quality leather....it’s just NICE!

But I can’t decide on which to keep. The CVO is a much more beautiful seat by itself. But I think the Brown makes the bike pop....

Corbin I know I can ride on all day for several days in a row but I can get a much better CVO backrest than the Corbin is.

If I go brown I have brown grips and a couple other touches I can make to match.

You already know the answer to your question. However if you decided to sell the Corbin send a PM please.

The Corbin seat is definitely a better made seat but the CVO seat has a passenger pillion available in case you ever decide you want to take someone else with you. Do you have it also? I swap mine out when the grand kids wanna go for a ride. There is an advantage to keeping both.

You're allowed to have as many seats as you need - or fancy! I happen to like the idea of a light tan, as a pal over in the Evo section recently bought one. Also my Glide is a similar blue to your bike and I reckon tan looks particularly good, especially with the sun on it.

When deciding on seats my butt makes the final decision. Comfort wins out. looks are secondary. Can't see it when riding anyway.

I don't have a pillion for either seat. The Corbin came with its backrest, but I have found that they don't adjust to position far enough forward so I would have to mod it. CVObackrest.com (I think) has a not so good looking but looks like it works really well backrest that is available for about 160 bucks. I will probably sell off the CVO seat cause I really like the bike with brown. When I pulled that CVO seat out of the box and set it on the bike though...whoa...I felt something magical. I think it was just the quality of the seat and the grey stitching matches really really well. Maybe Ill keep the CVO just to look at. Store it with my pretty man things like my SS sig 1911. This is the first time I have actually been able to look at the pictures full size and on the computer the brown wins out for me for sure. On the phone its a toss up. The seats both feel great. I suppose I could run the CVO seat on a few full day-ers and see if it is actually comfortable on a long day. I just wonder how much breaking in it will need....its never been sat on except by me a few times yesterday when I mounted it. The design is almost like the Corbin Hollywood which left me numb in places. The one thing about the CVO seat...It is extremely light-weight ?!?

just curious, why didn't you order the cvo seat in brown?

just my opinion, but i like the black better on your bike. the brown just looks a little off. but, it's your opinion that counts.
