not likely.. but i am far from an expert.. however i have seen some weird things work out with the guys i ride with from time simply by disconnecting battery negative for few minutes.....worth a try especially if u r stranded..these ecms control almost everything these days and doing this will reboot them....... then off to the stealer u go to find out why..

Welcome from western Michigan, the crank position sensor on the left front of the engine case "reads" the notches on the flywheel and on a predetermined spot on the fly wheel a signal is sent from the CPS/CKP to the ignition module to the coil to fire the spark plug/s. Others on this forum have figured out a "normal" signal voltage from this sensor. I would start there. Have you done anything to the bike before this happened/ If so review what was done to see if it affected the firing circuit.
