Daymaker question
Def looking into changing out mine for one. At Harley they wanted 500.00 per headlight for my Road Glide. I can get both from the site for 149.00 TOTAL DEAL.
I just installed the Sunpie kit on my Ultra and so far I'm happy with it. I haven't ridden with them at night but just from aiming them and seeing the pattern on the wall I think I'll be really happy with them.
One thing I did notice, however. The HD ones seem to be a bit bigger. There's a ring of chrome around the actual light area on the Sunpie lights that doesn't appear to exist on the OE ones. Not sure what difference it makes, if any.

A $300 difference tells me that they can't be the genuine lights. I bought mine from Hogworkz direct to make sure I don't get knock-offs.
Ultimately that is the underlying question here = are any of the led lights $300-$600+ better than the $120 lights ?Or, are they simply $300-$600+ more expensive?
I put the Sunpie kit on my Road King this spring and have only taken one short night ride with them. They seem really bright and a noticeable improvement over stock. At the price of them on Amazon vs the Harley price I would not hesitate on another set.The set of 3 for my Road King off Harleys Canadian web page would have been Approx $1200 Canadian so I'll take my chances on the $109 Sunpie's
