Default CD probeam or BAL?

my buddy's bday coming up and he is always talking about getting a brighter tail light. thought this would make a good gift. he has an 07 street glide. which would you chose and why?

I have the BAL-1 and love it. I have not seen the ProBeam in person but they make a quality product.

I can only speak to the BAL. They are blindingly bright. They are also really expensive.

BAL is amazingly bright.
I have a smoked, laydown, w/o plate light for sale. Make an offer.
