Facing a conundrum
Without going into too much detail at the moment... Neither bike would start.... mysteriously.... and the exhaust smelled.... odd.... Almost like someone put something in the gas tank while I wasn't home... Interesting given the fact that the bikes ran perfectly fine just the day prior....
Both Street Glides are at the dealership getting looked over and figuring out why they will not start. Meanwhile, my dealership took pity on me and worked with me. I tell you what, those guys are something else and I mean that in a good way.
I don't have possession of the Road Glide yet. It is still at the dealership getting bars and lighted controls put on. Once I get it (hopefully soon) I will post pictures of her in this thread and probably other threads...
Till then, ride safe, all!!
Believe me... That is the THIRD thing I did when I got home after she left for good. First was to inspect the house and second was to call in the Sheriff....
And thank you!
THIS says it all. Sell it or trade it and take your lumps, get what YOU want.....
YMMV

I had one Ex knock my Heritage over in the garage and dent it up a bit. She called the police and attempted to have me arrested, but the cops just said I should find another place to spend the night. I should in retrospect have made them tell her that. While I was elsewhere for the night she make a sugar syrup and poured it in the fuel tank and then put kitty litter in the oil tank. I didn't find out any of these things until it was towed to a shop to fix the damages we knew about. The sugar wasn't so bad, but we didn't find the kitty litter until the engine had ran, been starved for oil and flattened the cams.
Of course the police wouldn't get involved at that point. Thank goodness I had good insurance!

another option is to offer it up for someone to just take over payments.. if it has some equity in it likely it would be a good deal for someone..
either way I would just keep the 16 and wait to see whats in store for the 19 touring line
