I have constant problems with my radio. I had it replaced once. My Ipod connection where it connects to my ipod fell apart. Now my right speakers don't work and radio cuts off. I am looking to replace the radio because it is a constant problem for most people. To my understanding via factory all the speakers on my FLHXSE2 are 1 ohm. I cannot find a radio that outputs 1 ohm. Does anyone know of a replacement radio for a FLHXSE2. (not Aquatic etc) It seem that I would need to replace all the speakers and radio. Anyone had a good idea on a replacement?
thanks

Go to the Audio section on here, lot of knowledgeable riders on there can help you.
Thought the speakers were 2ohm but could be wrong. As previously suggested hit up the guys in the Audio Systems section.
no, unfortunately, in this system, the speakers are 1 ohm. it is the same system that i have/had on my 2013 fltrxse2. what i ended up doing was taking out and replacing the fairing amp, and replacing the fairing speakers with some decent ones.
i picked up a plug like the one on the amp so that i could make my own harness to the new amp effectively making it plug and play and avoiding cutting up the wiring harness.
you really are going to get much better sound quality by replacing the whole system. but you can still get decent sound by replacing just the amp and speakers (i'll be looking at replacing the headunit later too)
