OK, needed to lower the bike, bought a set of 12" Harley Air shocks but thin had nothing but trouble keeping air in them. So I went with Progressive 412's. Wanted the 440's but I'm not spending the $$$. Anyway, got the shocks in and installed. The ride is much better. I set the sag, so I run them on the second notch of the spring tension. They are a little stiff but no bottoming out. So, please overall and glad to get rid of the air shock and all the hoses.

I got a Heavy Duty set back in 2016 for $150...easily the best deal for the money. Way better than stock as we constantly bottomed out...now solo I ride on setting 2 or 3 and with wife, setting 4 or 5 depending on if trunk loaded and bottoming only happens on worst of rr tracks. Bit of a pain to remove saddle bags to adjust but thats my only complaint. If on a tight budget, these are worth the coin.

Literally installed mine about an hour or so ago. Couldnt take it for a ride or set the sag yet as a couple piece of **** Kuryakyn crap ornamental covers stripped. Tomorrow morning heading to Lowes for 4bolts/washers and locknuts to tie the bags rails, fender rails and tail mount together. Adjust the bags and mufflers and be back on the road.

I recently got a set of these used on ebay for a steal. My only problem is they came with nothing and the bushings are too big for the shock mounting bolts. Any ideas on where to find the correct bushings for my 02 FLHT?

For anyone interested, it turns out what I was looking for was a 1/2" I.D. x 5/8" O.D. spacer. $6 for all four from the Lowes hardware section.
