Default Demo Rides

2017 Street Glide & 2018 Road Glide
It was only a 2 mile (around the block - literally) ride

Both VERY slick machines. The 107? YEAH BABY!!
Fast, smooth (WAAAY smoother than the 114 in the 18 Heritage I rode.

Brakes, controls, all impressive. Both felt heavy in the front end
compared to what I'm used to (00 Heritage) But that's how my 02 E/Glide
was too.

Susp? Eeeh. I guess both had the shorter shocks, so it was stiff. Rode harder
than my 00.

Fairings, the age old which is better. Apples & oranges different. They both had the
shorty shields, so no 100 % answer. But with that said - All's I can say is with the batwing,
I had 1/2 the wind hitting me. I've been told by RG riders that after a certain speed (say 70 +?)
the RG fairing creates a good slip stream and offers more wind protection than a batwing,
but not so good at lower speeds.

So if the dealer was going to give you either one for free, which one would you take home?

After riding behind batwings for the last twenty years, I thought it may be time for a shark. The wife thinks they're fugly, and I respect her opinion. Needless to say, there's a 2018 FLHXS in the garage.
