Default Helmet Speakers

I am having trouble finding a quality helmet that has room for the standard Harley helmet speakers. Most don't have enough room for the speaker to fit without pressing on ears and being uncomfortable. I have a couple of cheap 3/4 helmets that they fit fine in, but I am trying to upgrade to a modular helmet for long trips. Suggestions?

Most helmets have foam that comes out in that spot.

That has been my experience as well.

I just purchased a new Shoei J Cruise and my HD headset speakers will NOT fit in the speaker cavity in the helmet.

This brings back memories. In the mid 70's I strapped an Am-FM 8 track to the seat of my CB 750 Honda. I used a set of headphones that I disassembled and installed in my 3/4 helmet with the plug so it could be disconnected. Worked flawless, I bet I was the first. Good luck.

Great helmet with ample room for speakers. Shop around and good prices can be found. A friend got a good deal at a local Cycle Gear store.

I have a Harley helmet which is a rebadged HJC. I had to dig out the speaker area a bit until the speakers recessed in far enough to not cause pressure on my ears. I also removed the felt covering from the speaker.
