yup, then fill the rest of the bag up with ice, so they are nice and cold when you arrive at your destination.

A case won’t quite fit. Two 18-packs will though...

And for actually keeping it cool, the Hopnel King Cooler saddlebag cooler works great.

I reckon most anybody that drinks beer and rides a bike, especially a Harley touring bike has, hauled a few beers and I do so on a semi regular basis. HD has a recommended weight limit for saddlebags, and yes, even your 4 point docking has a weight limit. Just an FYI and I no longer try to transport more than a 12 pack (still overloaded) for any length of time. Just long enough to get it home or to a cooler of ice where it belongs before being consumed. Some amusing posts here and I have seen plenty of folks on the road with beer in tow.

A case of beer will fit easily in a Tour Pak of an Ultra Classic. I do it all the time.

I haul my usual libation a 24pack (cans) at a time and it fits right down in one bag. I've also had a 30 pack in the tour pak and as I recall, there's enough room for two side by each in there.
