Default Rear Wheel

What is the difference between 02-07 rear wheel and 08? I know 08 has 25mm axle and cush drive (isolators) I think 08 was first year with isolators can I put the isolator pulley system on 02-07 wheel ? I'm not sure when they changed from 1" axle to 25mm axle

Difference?...Nothing...with the wheel itself

- The Cush drive was a "Bolt-on" in 08 only (can install on the earlier wheel)
- They started using 25mm bearings in 08 using the earlier wheel with a bearing shim under the "Primary Bearing" (08 only again)

.

multihdrdr your saying the spacer goes under the primary bearing but the parts book shows it on the brake rotor side

Yes, the "Primary Bearing" side is the brake rotor side ...That's of course, the Right Side on the Rear of a Big Twin

Don't confuse that with the Primary Chain side...The word "Primary" means "Main" or "First"
