2003 Wide Glide No brake light. It's not the bulb. checked wires. Any idea of where the problem could be? Everything works except brake light(and gas gauge but I'm sure that's a separate issue.

 

I was hunting brake light problems this past weekend, parts dude at the local dealer told me to look at the board under the tail-light, where everything connects.

 

Solved! After I posted I kept messing around with it. I thought all along it was a loose brake wire. It turns out the base of the bulb doesn't sit properly in the socket. So it appears the connection is off. I wedged in a match stick and it works. Just a temp fix as I'll probably need a whole new assembly.
