I saw a cage driver do that to a bunch of bicyclist. I followed the fella to ensure I could ID him. Came back to the bicyclist to ensure medical help wasn't needed. The cop shows up and gets the whole story - including mine as a witness. Turns out the copy didn't know what violation the driver did. He had to call his Sgt and ask. Already told you what the charge would be. I used to be a cop here for about 5 years.
Just checked (cause Im bored) and Arizona does have a road rage law. My issue is you say you went to the cops and they didnt assist you. You went to one or two cops maybe? And then give up? Sometimes you have to go higher. I know its not fair and its not right. But it happens. You can always go higher and get a refusal to investigate in writing and then (depending if you live in a city) go to your elected officials (council person or commissioner)Cops are people. They are sometimes stupid and ignorant of the law. Sometimes they are surely and rude. They are human. Subjected to mistakes. Dont let some ignorant cops cloud or discourage you.

Just last week a cage driver in Tennessee got sent to prison for intentionally hitting a bicyclist on the Natchez Trace Parkway. The bicyclists buddy recorded the incident (including the cagers tag #) on his helmet cam. They threw the book at that idiot cager because the Trace is a US Park. The Federal Government has no sense of humor for that kind of foolishness. Why should AZ be any different? Still waiting to see the actual video. If it went down as you say it did there is no way the cops let that guy skate. Since you still havent posted the actual video Im wondering if Zerk might be right after all.

Jerk right? Give me a break, Look at his sig. I would have followed the "zerk" until he pulled over. Then confronted the A-Hole. One time some young punk tried to run me off the Interstate I followed him until the cops pulled me over because he called 911 because I was following him.
At the point when he's clearly trying to take you out with what is a deadly weapon and your video I am assuming would show that, I'm personally reaching behind my back and taking out my Glock 45 and being legitimately in fear of my life, I would have zero problems in using it. Crazy **** and glad ur OK.
Yep... that is what concealed carry permits are for... better IMHO than a get back.

A last resort. Your life will take a very real change after that weapon is drawn and that trigger is pulled.. Is it worth it? Think about it in that moment of RAGE.
