Steering problem

I certainly wasn't trying to defend the OP.... Many comments made it sound as if you couldn't ride a motorcycle without an understanding of counter steer.... just offering a counter point to that line of thought...
I'll thank foxtrapper and hattitude for taking the time to explain things,at least a little, rather than just burn the guys buns. When the rider's weight is a significant portion of the total package weight, then weight shift works fine and conscious counter steer never enters the picture. Change the situation to where the rider's weight is a small fraction of the total package, now the mass of the bike must be made to do the work, the rider's weight no longer will do the job so counter steer becomes mandatory. If the guy was a troll, I guess he got what he deserved, BUT if he was asking a serious question, there are bunch of you guys that should be ashamed of yourselves.
