First Extended ESP
Jim Palmer at Discount ESP is now selling an ESP administered First Extended. My Cornerstone plan that I got from him is eligible for renewal next month. Price is the same to stay with Cornerstone or go with First Extended. However, Jim says he considers the First Extended plan to be an "upgrade" due to "food and lodging reimbursement and better flexibility during claim time." I had a claim with Cornerstone and the process was flawless. I can't find any reviews on First Extended other than their auto program and the ones I saw did not give them high marks. Has anyone purchased the First Extended plan and filed a claim? Not wanting to get into a debate on whether anyone should or should not purchase an ESP plan, just looking for a review of First Extended's claim process.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Personally, I think that if you have had good service with Cornerstone. I would stick with them.
What is the cost difference? What does better flexibility during claim time mean? Through your own research, You did not find any info on their MC plans. But, on their Auto plans did not receive good marks. I would have to assume that they are not going to get good marks on MS policies either.

I got a ESP thru Jim with First Extended with the wheel and tire add on, a year ago... About a month ago I picked up a 1/4" allen wrench in the rear tire coming back from Arkansas. Tire was only a year old. They paid for the replacement tire and labor. Only hiccup was that I had to pay the HD dealer when the bike was ready later the same day, then I was reimbursed a week later when First Extended paid the dealer. I had called First Extended before I took the bike to the dealer, the dealer called First Extended while I stood there, before any work was done (the dealer was not familiar with them at that point)... and still it took a few days to get the dealer their payment. No big deal really, it was just a rear tire and in the end it was paid for in full.
