Default negitive battery cable

trying to change my battery cables on my 2010 Ultra, and just wondering what the heck you guys are using to loosen the nut under the starter behind the oil fill.
I can get a socket on it but cant get the ratchet in there, if I try a wrench the open end is the only side I can get on it but with no purchase to turn it. ANY TRICKS?
please help.

Since you will already have the battery disconnected, go ahead and remove the 2 wires from the starter then the 2 bolts holding it to the primary and pull it out, or prop it up for room. Not much else you can do to get that cable undone from under the starter.
