So, by this time most know that using a non approved tuner can have their warranty voided. At least the powertrain portion.
I was reading in another thread about a used bike at a dealer that was flagged for being out of warranty.
My question is, can a bike thats had its powertrain warranty voided be rehabilitated?
It would seem to me that a bikes value would be increased if a dealer could restore it to an EPA/HD approved tune / state.
My "guess" would be NO.
Once it's been flagged with an unapproved tune, the factory will wash its hands of the power train warranty forever.
Even going back to full factory specs with factory tune will not help.
Auto manufacturers have been known to be the same way.
