Default anyideas

have 06 road glide with dealer installed 95" motor and pciii. bike has developed a miss aftr being ridden about 40 miles. dealer has had it 2 days, know it has a miss, but dont know what is causing the miss. said they were not spending any more time on it because harley wont pay them since it has a tuning device, the pciii is good has been checked. has new plugs and wires. anyideas

This is one of those times when youre warranty can't help you because you have other than harley parts that could be the cause. You could take it somewhere else, or remove the pcIII and see if it still misses or pony up the cash to pay the dealer to try and fix it. He didn't say he wouldn't just that harley wouldn't pay for his time.

Might not have been a bad idea to take that PCIII off before you took the bike into the dealer for warranty work like that.

I bought a TMAT recently for an 07 ultra and will be running ANBS and fatcats 2-1. If the bike needs work that could involve warranty issues, can you take the TMAT out and put stock back in with the pipe and air changes, or will it damage the engine?

GREAT ADVICE! The mfr. can't refuse warranty work on your bike, evenif it has other-than-hd parts. They're obligated to PROVE the other parts caused the failure before they can refuse to honor the warranty! That's the law...
