Default Primary drain plug crap...

Thoughts..., normal? Something wrong? Has 6500 miles...

I would go ahead and pull the primary cover and take a closer look.

My 04 always has crud on all three plugs. But not that big piece. Back at 20k, it did and it had shucked the alternator spline.
What does that big piece look like clean? Might want to show that to the dealer on a new bike. Of course they are gonna void warranty and blame it on you.

That aint "normal".
Something is coming apart in there.
See the chunks sticking up?
All there should be a is very vine magnetic powder

did you happen to run a magnet through the oil that you drained out?

that doesnt look too promising to me. i usually only get a sludge like material on my plugs.
