Not seen in these photos, but I found a small bar n' shield logo (sticker) (all white, no words) about 1.5" x 1.5" which is now front and center on the batwing to break up the huge area of black. I am usually not big on stickers, but it does seem to work. Perhaps what it needs is some red flames or pinstripes.
A colour match paint job is looking like $500-$700 locally. ...or I suppose I could source some paint and try to do it myself.
BUT! I have another potentially less expensive option: A fairing bra to match your bags. This will tone down the high gloss plastic-ness, giving it a more premium feel. Plus, it will tie it into the rest of the package by matching the bags and trunk box.
Interesting,. I had never heard tell of a fairing bra (maybe I've been living under a rock?), but I just googled it and like the look. Would match all the rest of the black on the bike. This fall I plan to get fabric or leather lowers (in black of course) but you're so right.
There sure *IS* a lot of shiny black plastic going on up front -

I reckon you should sort out your helmet first - that clashes BIG time! Matt black?!

Glad I could help.
I didn't do enough google-ing to find one specific to the Memphis Shades fairing. I'm sure that you can find one that fits.
