Default Air Cleaner
I have a 2012 Street Glide with SE Air Cleaner, stock headers and Rinehart slip ons, the bike was tuned at the dealer, so it doesn't have a tuner on it. I want to get another Hi Flow air cleaner, would I have to retune bike changing from one high flow cleaner to another high flow air cleaner?

Doubtful. I would change it, go for a ride and then determine if a tune is warranted.

The dealer will tune the bike to EPA requirements as by law because they are a dealer. So if you want a "fat" mix it won't be there.

Yea if you're looking for the power associated with the AC and exhaust, dont use the dealer.....

But i don't think a change is necessary with a different AC

i bought the bike used from the dealer and the only reason I know it was tuned by the dealer is because there wasn’t a tuner attached the the bike. So I called a friend of mine that is a bike mechanic and he said more than likely the guy that had it before me had the dealer to tune it and that’s why there wasn’t a tuner on the bike. I kind of scratched my head because when I bought a 07 Ultra from a dealer about 100 miles from me I told them that I wanted hi flow AC, good slip-ons and the dealer said that would required a tuner so they put a v&h tuner on the bike, he said the only reason that they would use the computer tuner if the whole exhaust system was aftermarket!

They used to have "Dealer Flashes " but have since stopped offering them , likely because they are not EPA compliant. There were not really a tune per say but they added some fuel to the mix.

Would it be better to get a fuel pak and once I replace the air cleaner hookup the fuel pak and let the fuel pak do it's thing to get things right?

I have a FP3 and it made a difference , I like it but if I were to do it over again I would have got the Power Vision at the price Fuel Moto is offering them for now.
