Squealing
I have an 05 Electra Glide Standard, i recently started hearing a squealing sound coming from the primary cover. The sound increases as i Accelerate....Help!! Any info would be great...And Go!

I would be thinking inner primary bearing going bad or clutch hub bearing. Does it make the noise while sitting still in netrual with the clutch out ? What about with clutch in ?

Has the primary fluid been changed recently? I'd take the primary outer case off and look for any abnormalities, i.e. something rubbing against the alternator rotor or against the clutch. By the way welcome to the forum from west MI.

Almost always it's a bearing going out on something. If it starts out as a grinding noise, then that's something rubbing ie chain on housing, etc. Squealing is the first sign that a bearing is going. If it goes from squealing to grinding...you're screwed.
