My 14" F47 bars are the most comfortable set of bars I've had on a bike. I'll admit that I never considered apes until I had a chance to ride a bike with ape hangers awhile back. Couldn't believe how comfortable they were/are. I always thought riders were installing them because they liked the way they looked. They do look good but the comfort is really what makes them appealing.

Been running apes for 45 years now. Would never go back. See if your local dealers have any bikes with apes you can sit on. Try different sizes to find what you like. Cheaper than installing a set then wishing you had gone 2 inches higher...
