You don't need one that long for an OEM bagger.... my lift does just fine @ 86.5" long. The Handy is like 84" long...

I have a K&L MC625R Lift. It has a deck length of 86.5" x 29.5" wide (I also have the side extensions)... I use the K&L chock, and it has trap doors for front & rear wheels.

I use it for '16 Classic, '01 Springer, & '03 Heritage. I also worked on my old '12 Limited... None of these bikes have an issue with the length @ 86.5".

Here's a pic of my '16 Ultra Classic on the lift. You can see that the 86.5" length is sufficient...

PS- I just noticed Post #6..... hbsoldier3 has the same lift that I have... you can see the length in comparison to his Bagger... again, that lift is 86.5" long...

Sure looks like it fits nicely. What kind of money are they?

I got mine 3 years ago for a little cheaper than I could get a similarly outfitted Handy lift at the time.....

I got the lift, the side extensions, the deluxe wheel chock, retractable wheels, nose wheel, and shipping for $2,050.07.

I liked the K&L because it:
Has dual hydraulic rams (most have one hydraulic ram... having run boats offshore, out of San Diego for 30 years, I've learned to like redundancy)
Raises to 40" (Many only go 32" - 36". I plan to eventually "sink" my lift into the concrete, so that's 8" off the max lift)
Has a 1750lbs capacity (Many lifts were at 1000 lbs. or 1200 lbs. max capacity. WIth a 900+lb bagger, I wanted some weight cushion...)

There are a lot of good lifts out there. There are a few I wouldn't use, but most are a matter of your budget/priorities.

I posted to show you that 84"-86" is plenty long for an OEM bike... Now, if you have a custom bike, with an extended front end, then you need to start measuring and comparing the deck length and/or front deck extensions...

Good luck with your decision...

My bad Paul, I misspoke when I said we had the same lift.... I see you have the MC655R, I have the MC625R.... they both have the 86.5" long deck.

I believe yours is the electric/hydraulic model, which goes to 48" & 2,000 lbs max..... nice!

I looked hard at that one, but couldn't afford it....

Wheres that?

I've been using the ProCycle XLT from Direct Lift since '08. Definitely handles my Ultra Ltd with ease. Combined with a center scissor jack, I can do all the maintenance functions needed (tire changes, fork rebuilds, cam swaps, etc.). Not saying it's better than the other lifts on here, but it's definitely gotten the job done with multiple different motorcycles over the years. Ordered from Greg Smiths. Call them up on the phone and see what kind of price they can give you.

Tacoma Washington. His offices are just north of Seattle in Kirkland and he also has a warehouse in Dallas TX. Just noticed you're in Michigan so it's not of much consolation.

Not sure where you're exactly located but there's a Direct Lift dealer in Kentwood, MI. If you can arrange a local pickup it can save you some decent coin. Automotive-Lift Kentwood
