I'm looking to upgrade my radio on my '13 Ultra Limited. Looking at the Aquatic AV AQ-MP-5UBT-HS. I just recently upgraded my headlight and running lights to LEDs. I've read some reviews saying that the LEDs interfere with the radio. Wondering if anyone has any experience with this particular radio and LEDs or if anyone has a good suggestion for a radio upgrade to my Ultra that has Bluetooth capability. Thanks for the suggestions and feedback.
The interference is hit and miss. Works fine in one bike and doesn't in another. I have a kenwood deck and Biketronics install kit. No issue with water damage. Look at something like this
'13 ultra classic, aquatic/leds in the bucket. Didn't really have any radio issues until dropping the antenna from the tourpak to in between the bags and fender. Now it's hit or miss but I think that's mostly due to living in alabama with the mountains (from michigan originally).
If you do get any static from the led's, go to radio shack or any computer store and get the little clip on's they use for computer cords. I've been told they work well putting a couple on the headlight cable.
